KYRO´S GLASTON TECHNOLOGIES RECEIVED MACHINE ORDERS FOR APPROXIMATELY
EUR 15 MILLION

Kyro Group´s Glass and Stone Technology business area, Glaston
Technologies, has agreed new machinery orders for approximately EUR 15
million. The orders were received in connection with the international
glass exhibition Vitrum 2003 held in Milan on 25 – 28, June, 2003,
which is the largest trade fair for the glass industry this year.
Vitrum 2003 was a success for Glaston Technologies despite the current
world economic cycle and the unusual timing of the trade fair.

The ordered machines and equipment will be delivered mainly to Europe,
United States and Asia during the ongoing year. The orders comprise
pre-processing, flat tempering and tempering and bending machines for
both architectural and automotive glass industry. The orders will be
booked, when down payments have been paid.

Kyro’s Glass and Stone Technology business area includes Tamglass, the
market and technology leader in safety glass machinery, Z. Bavelloni,
the leading manufacturer of glass pre-processing machinery and tools,
the Glasto group of distribution companies, Uniglass Engineering, a
manufacturer of flat tempering machines, and Tamglass Glass
Processing, a significant Finnish comprehensive supplier of processed
glass products.

Tamglass, Z.Bavelloni and Glasto work in close co-operation in sales,
logistics, R&D and maintenance service. The companies introduced at
Vitrum 2003 a One-Stop-Shop concept unique in the glass processing
machinery industry and presented for the first time a combined trade
fair stand. The concept enables the purchase of all the machinery
needed in glass processing and plant engineering from one supplier.

Kyro´s Interim Report 1-6/2003 will be published on 14 August, 2003 at
08.30.
