Glaston Corporation Press Release 21 January 2021
Glaston Group has closed a follow-up deal with US based Lippert Components Inc., an industry leading manufacturer and supplier to the recreational vehicle (RV), Marine, Power Sports and Mass Transit Markets, for an automotive pre-processing line and an insulating glass line. The orders are booked in Glaston’s Q4/2020 order book. The lines will be delivered during the third and fourth quarters of 2021.
In June 2020, Glaston disclosed Lippert Component Inc.’s (LCI) deal for an automotive pre-processing line, a Glaston Matrix serial bending furnace and high-performance laminating equipment. Glaston's versatile product portfolio including heat treatment technologies, insulating glass technologies as well as automotive glass technologies enable LCI to cover several of their customer’s demands.
For their new investment LCI decided to continue down the path with Glaston. To feed the existing Glaston bending and laminating equipment, LCI ordered an automotive CHAMP Cut Breakout Grind Line. In addition, the deal included a second TPS® insulating glass line for additional insulating capacity running in parallel to the previously purchased TPS® insulating glass line.
