Notice to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders


The shareholders of Glaston Corporation are invited to attend the
Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on Tuesday, 11
March 2008 at 4 p.m. at Hotel Hilton Helsinki Kalastajatorppa, at the
address Kalastajatorpantie 1, Helsinki. Registration of the
shareholders having notified their attendance will start at the
meeting facilities at 3 p.m.


Agenda of the Meeting

Matters pertaining to the Annual General Meeting pursuant to Article
13 of the Articles of Association and Chapter 5, Section 3 of the
Finnish Companies Act shall be handled at the Meeting.


Availability of Documents

Copies of the financial statements will be available for inspection
by shareholders as of 4 March 2008 at Glaston's head office at
Vehmaistenkatu 5, 33730 Tampere. The Annual Report will be mailed to
the shareholders on week 9.


Right to Attend the Meeting

The right to attend the Meeting is vested in a shareholder who is
registered as a shareholder on Friday, 29 February 2008 in the
shareholders' register maintained by Finnish Central Securities
Depository Ltd.


Meeting Attendance of Nominee-Registered Shareholders

A shareholder whose shares are registered in his/her book-entry
account is also registered in the Company's shareholders' register. A
shareholder owning nominee-registered shares can request at least ten
days prior to the Annual General Meeting to be temporarily registered
in the shareholders' register in order to be able to attend the
Meeting.


Notification of Attendance

Shareholders wishing to attend the Meeting must notify the Company of
their attendance no later than by 4 p.m. on Thursday, 6 March 2008 in
writing to the mailing address Glaston Corporation, P.O. Box 25,
33731 Tampere, by telephone to number  +358 10 500 6072 (Terttu
Uusitalo) or by email to terttu.uusitalo@glaston.net. Written
notifications to attend the Meeting must arrive prior to the deadline
for notification. Possible powers of attorneys are requested to be
submitted to the address above within the period reserved for written
notifications.


Composition of the Board of Directors

The shareholders representing together more than 40 per cent of the
shares and the voting rights carried by the shares have notified the
Company of their proposal that the Annual General meeting of
Shareholders would resolve the Board of Directors be composed of 7
members, and that Claus von Bonsdorff, Klaus Cawén, Carl-Johan
Rosenbröijer, Christer Sumelius and Andreas Tallberg be re-elected as
well as Jan Lång and Mikael Mäkinen be elected as new Board members.


Auditor

The Board of Director proposes that the Authorized Public Accountants
KPMG Oy Ab be elected as the auditor of the Company with the consent
by the auditor.


Distribution of Dividend

The Board of Directors proposes that a dividend of EUR 0.10 per share
and thus in total 7.8 million euros be paid based on the balance
sheet approved for the financial year ended on 31 December 2007. The
dividend will be paid to shareholders registered in the shareholders'
register maintained by the Finnish Central Securities Depository Ltd.
on the record date for dividend payment on 14 March 2008. The Board
of Directors proposes the dividend be paid on 25 March 2008.
