ORDERS WORTH EUR 27.7 MILLION FOR GLASTON TECHNOLOGIES IN DECEMBER 2004

Kyro Group's main business area, Glaston Technologies, has received a record
amount of new machinery orders in December 2004, EUR 27.7 million. The previous
month record was achieved in December 2003 when orders were received worth EUR
23.5 million. Orders of December 2004 raised Glaston Technologies' order book at
a level of EUR 62.2 million (according to FAS). On December 31, 2003 the order book
was EUR 58.8 million.

Ordered machines will be delivered mainly during first half of the year 2005. The orders
were received from all main market areas and they come from both the
architectural and automotive glass industries. The demand for safety glass
machinery and glass processing machines and tools is increasing all over the
world except in Middle Europe where demand is still low.

Kyro will issue its financial statement for the financial period 1 January - 31
December 2004 on 3 February 2005.
