Glaston has launched Warranty5, a reliability program that protects customers against unexpected production downtime. This type of service is a first in the industry and only provided by Glaston.

Warranty5 puts Glaston again in the driver seat when it comes to setting new standards – and this time it is about standing behind the company’s promise when it comes to unquestionable production reliability. Warranty5 assures customers secure operation and more uptime with new machines.

Warranty5 helps reduce unplanned maintenance costs and increase productivity by providing an extended insurance. It is available for customers in the form of a Glaston Care service agreement with a maximum of five years of coverage in the case of unexpected breakdowns with Glaston flat tempering machinery after commissioning. It provides all the materials and work related to getting a machine or line back up and running at top performance as soon as possible. Consumables as well as wear and tear parts are not covered in this program.

As part of the terms of Warranty5, customers commit to using Glaston original or OEM spare parts and agree to follow Glaston maintenance instructions during the reliability program.

“Offering Warranty5 is a continuation of our target to reach improved customer service and satisfaction,” says Mr. Juha Liettyä, Senior Vice President, Glaston Services. “Our goal is to help customers eliminate unplanned maintenance and focus on higher productivity. This is fully in line with our strategy to establish long-term relationships with all of our customers by giving them the industry’s best professional services before, during – and even long after delivery.”
