Ken Patterson offers glazing expertise to specialist Glazing Films and Blinds team
Ken Patterson has been a leading figure in the glazing industry for the last 36 years and is now part of the experienced team at Glazing Films and Blinds based in County Durham.
As part of the dedicated team working down at Durham University, Ken offers a ‘one stop shop’ for glazing at all types of properties in the universities portfolio and his vast experience in all aspects of glazing, is being put to good use on the wide array of different sites.
Ken works for Glazing Films and Blinds on projects across the North of England and has many years experience working on some of the most prestigious glazing installations in the country. His experience has seen him work on significant infrastructure projects including the installation of the glazed dome at Sunderland Winter Gardens, to supplying emergency glazing repairs and replacements on film sets during major BBC television drama series filmed in the region. With this range of experience, he has become one of the best known faces in the industry, with an outstanding reputation for his quality workmanship and understanding of every type of glazing system.
Glazing Films and Blinds which were recognised with an award at the Newcastle University ‘Contractor of Year‘ 2014 awards have a growing reputation in the Higher Education sector, working with a number of the regions’ leading universities. Ken started his career in glazing in 1979 and has worked with many of the leading names in the industry including glass merchants Elders Walkers Glass and Pilkington and he specialises in commercial glazing systems.
