GLEN DIMPLEX BOILERS APPOINTS NEW TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER
Martin Jones has been appointed to the newly-created role of Technical Product Manager at Glen Dimplex Boilers. This latest move follows the accelerated growth that the company continues to experience, and the growing popularity of the Dimplex gas boiler brand.
Charged with providing technical support for commercial and customer care teams at Glen Dimplex Boilers, Martin also assumes responsibility for supporting both customers and installers, as well as managing the company’s exclusive college training programme for merchants and installers. In addition, he will liaise directly with industry bodies and external development houses on all technical issues.
Commenting on his appointment, Managing Director at Glen Dimplex Boilers, Colin Gardner said: “At a time when many companies are curtailing investment, Glen Dimplex Boilers is continuing to invest in the superior levels of support for which the Dimplex boiler brand is fast becoming renowned.”
Colin adds: “As a registered gas engineer, we are confident that Martin will provide an invaluable insight into the consumer, installer and merchant arenas. Plus, his presence will help drive the Dimplex boiler brand forwards, challenging the more established brands.”
A former apprentice in Mechanical Engineering and Apprentice of the Year in 2003, Martin brings over nine years experience in the heating industry to his new role. Prior to joining Glen Dimplex Boilers, he rose from the position of Heating Engineer at Premier Energy Solutions Ltd to General Manager at STL Plumbing and Heating Ltd, responsible for the social housing heating contracts. He is fully trained in renewable energies.
