GLHF to focus on e-sports community and entertainment - ends with betting

Gamingzone becomes the sole owner of GLHF when the e-sports platform focuses on e-sports teams and their fans and ends with betting. The focus going forward is to build the world's best entertainment platform and community where teams and fans can meet.

In May 2018, Gamingzone Entertainment and Mr Green launched the joint venture GLHF, an e-sports platform focused on entertainment, news and gaming opportunities. The company was 55 percent owned by Mr. Green and 45 percent by Gamingzone Entertainment. As of October, Gamingzone is the sole owner of GLHF.

– From the start we had a solution with two platforms, one for betting and one for our community of e-sport fans. We noticed right away when we launched in May 2018 that our community became very popular and showed very nice KPIs, so it became natural to continue to focus more on our platform for fans. Therefore, it became a natural decision to discontinue our betting platform betglhf.gg this fall, says Niklas Grawé, CEO of GLHF. 

Focus ahead will be a sports platform that offers fans entertainment in the form of services such as video-on-demand, live streams, events and a host of other opportunities to interact with players in their favorite teams. 
 

The re-launch of the glhf.gg platform will be in the first quarter of 2020.
