San Francisco — July 25, 2007 — China Educational Research Network (CERNET), China’s largest private Fiber Optic Internet (IPV6) education and research computer network has selected Global IP Solutions (GIPS) VoiceEngine™ PC Advanced to improve voice quality of Digital Media Service, connecting more than 1,500 universities nationally and more than 20 million Chinese university students and 3 million faculty members and administrators. CERNET is funded by the Chinese government and directly managed by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
