Experienced Communications Specialist John Gallagher Joins Global IP Sound

San Francisco December 19, 2006 — Global IP Sound (GIPS), today announced the appointment of John Gallagher to the role of marketing communications manager. Gallagher will head GIPS’ investor and public relations initiatives to facilitate clear and continual communications with the investment community, and further promote the company as a leading enabler of high quality IP-based applications. Gallagher will report to Wendy Toth, GIPS’ vice president of marketing.
“John’s public relations and marketing expertise makes him a valuable addition to the GIPS team,” said Toth. “His deep understanding of media relations and the importance of the investor community will significantly contribute to GIPS’ ongoing corporate communications efforts.”
Gallagher brings a unique perspective to GIPS’ marketing communications program. Prior to joining GIPS, he was managing editor of The Irish Herald where he was credited with turning a financially unsuccessful newspaper into a profitable venture in 12 months. Before The Irish Herald, Gallagher was a part of the public relations and marketing communications group at Macrovision Corporation where he was responsible for launching and promoting the company to media and analysts.
