AVESTA ENERGI AND TÄBY ENERGI ARE OFFERING THEIR CUSTOMERS IP- TELEPHONY Avesta Energi and Täby Energi are cooperating with Stockholm Telecom in order to offer their customers IP telephony. Both of the utility companies will, in connection with the invoices that are being sent by the end of November, send out offers about the service. This means that nearly 14 500 customers at Avesta Energi and 28 000 customers at Täby Energi will be offered the service. The offer means that customers of both companies will be able to call abroad at prices that are 70% cheaper than Telia, and to call cellular phones at prices that are 45% cheaper than Telia. The service can be used from any touch-tone phone in Sweden. Avesta Energi and Täby Energi are wholly owned subsidiaries to Stockholm Energi. Stockholm Energi is already cooperating with Stockholm Telecom and has, since October this year, successfully been offering its customers (nearly 400 000 households) the same telephone service.
