Glocalnet Exceeds 50,000 Subscribers Stockholm, Sweden-November 25, 1999 - The steady increase of subscribers to Glocalnet continues. The company's forecast for the year of 35,000 subscribers by year-end was reached already in September with the introduction of the equal access reform. With more than one month left of 1999, Glocalnet has now exceeded the 50,000 subscribers mark. Approximately 35,000 of these are equal access customers. Traffic volume totals nine million minutes on a monthly basis, compared to 6.5 million minutes at the beginning of October. "We are going to be the third largest telecom operator with focus on the residential market in Sweden during next year. We are now well on our way. This shows that our strategy, based on partnership with customers with large customer bases and strong brand names is successful", says Glocalnet's Chief Executive Officer, Stefan Krook.
