Starting February 15, all calls within Sweden will cost 9 öre/minute during week-ends and evenings and 19 öre/minute for daytime calls (weekdays 08:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.). "Our fight for lower-priced telephony goes on. Thanks to the advantage our technology lends us and our effective organization, we are able to develop leading telephony services and, at the same time, continuously press prices on our basic high-quality telephony service", says Stefan Krook, Glocalnet's CEO. "We are now lowering the price of calls within Sweden. In the near future we intend to introduce telephony at flat-rate in cooperation with Bredbandsbolaget. With time, I am convinced that basic telephony will be free of charge." "Our goal is to become one of the three largest operators in Sweden. We plan to do this by continuing to be a price leader on basic telephony and, at the same time, deliver the most attractive value-added services on the market, says Stefan Krook. Glocalnet AB, quoted on Aragon Fondkommission's Reuters page, is a next- generation telecom player. Glocalnet markets its services in close collaboration with local market partners including Birka Energi and Bredbandsbolaget.
