Management team and traffic agreement in place in Denmark Stockholm, Sweden-October 10, 2000 - The Glocalnet expansion is accelerating. Six people have recently been recruited for the start-up of the Danish business, including a Management Team with a long combined experience from mobile and fixed line service operators. Mr. Flemming Kluge, previously Division Manager at Sonofon, the Danish mobile service operator, has been hired as new Manager of the Danish business. "Glocalnet's objective is to introduce mobile services in the near future. Mr. Kluge strengthens Glocalnet both with knowledge of the Danish market and mobile telephony in general, which is why we are very happy to have him on our team", says Glocalnet's CEO Stefan Krook. In addition, Glocalnet has signed an interconnect agreement with TeleDanmark for fixed line telephony in Denmark. Discussions are also ongoing with mobile operators. As a result, Glocalnet will be ready to launch telephony services in Denmark by the end of this year. Marketing campaigns will be planned for the first quarter of 2001. "The Danish market actually suits Glocalnet's strategy of being network independent even better than the Swedish market. This is why I believe we have every chance of succeeding in Denmark at least as well as in Sweden", comments Mr. Flemming Kluge, Managing Director of Glocalnet Denmark.
