Over 7 000 mobile telephone customers Through cost efficient cross-selling to existing fixed-line telephony customers, Glocalnet has made significant progress within mobile telephony. The Company launched mobile telephony services in March of 2001, and the number of registered mobile telephony customers now exceeds 7 000. "I am pleased to say that our new business plan - with focus on cross- selling within the business area Glocalnet Service Provider - has quickly shown itself to be a success. We have in a short time and with very low acquisition costs gotten off to a great start on our mobile undertaking", says Glocalnet's CEO, Stefan Krook. We have recently completed a pre-study with a significant player within one of the industries we are focusing on. This pre-study - the aim of which was to study how systems and processes can be integrated - clearly shows the advantages we can offer, e.g. a fast and cost efficient way to launch telecom services. Thus, we are hopeful that we will be able to reach an agreement for Glocalnet Service Operator within the timeframe that was communicated in conjunction with the launch of our new business model, e.g. within approximately four months from now," continues Stefan Krook. Glocalnet develops and markets telecom services-for fixed and mobile telephony plus the Internet-to private individuals. Glocalnet is Sweden's only provider capable of offering these services with an integrated bill, customer service function and self-service www portal.
