CUPCAKES BY CAROUSEL UNITES WITH GO4THEGOAL FOUNDATION TO HONOR PEDIATRIC CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
Sales of custom-designed cupcakes to support children affected by cancer
SEPTEMBER 4, 2012 – Merchantville, NJ – For the third consecutive year, Cupcakes by Carousel of Ridgewood, New Jersey has designed an Awareness Cupcake to commemorate Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. Beginning September 4th and running through the end of the month, 10% of the proceeds from the sale of these cupcakes will benefit New Jersey-based Go4theGoal Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
Cupcakes by Carousel’s unique cupcake flavor and frosting design will be sold at all three Cupcakes by Carousel locations in Ridgewood, Englewood and Montclair New Jersey and will be featured at the Ridgewood Fall Art & Craft Street Fair on September 23rd. Customers who wish to make a direct donation to Go4theGoal may purchase a special paper “cupcake” to pin up on the wall in the store. A canister will also be placed at the register to collect donations.
Additionally, on September 23rd & 27th in Ridgewood and September 27th & 29th in Englewood and Montclair, Cupcakes by Carousel will make an additional $1.00 donation to Go4theGoal for every pediatric cancer awareness cupcake sold.
“In the past two years, Cupcakes by Carousel has raised nearly $3,000 in pediatric cancer awareness cupcake sales for Go4theGoal Foundation, and 100% of these funds have gone to help children with cancer within our own community” said Nancy Finkelstein, owner and designer at Cupcakes by Carousel. “We are proud to partner with such a wonderful organization.”
