GO4THEGOAL FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH MiLB LAKEWOOD BLUECLAWS ON FATHER’S DAY TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR PEDIATRIC CANCER
Philadelphia Phillies Class A Lakewood BlueClaws to unveil Go4theGoal’s new gold “Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer” shoe laces at their home game on Father’s Day, June 17th
May 30, 2012– Merchantville, NJ: The Lakewood BlueClaws want to help children in their community who are battling cancer and have joined forces with Go4theGoal Pediatric Cancer Foundation to do just that.
On Sunday, June 17th, the Lakewood BlueClaws players, staff and management will wear Go4theGoal’s new gold shoe laces as part of G4G’s “Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer” awareness campaign.
"We're honored to partner with Go4TheGoal and their support of pediatric cancer patients and research," said BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown. "This is a very special cause and we're honored to wear gold laces on June 17th to help spread the word about such a great organization."
The BlueClaws have dedicated a special section at the stadium to Go4theGoal. Tickets for this section are available at $10.00 per ticket through Go4theGoal. The first 2,000 fans through the gate will receive a pair of Go4theGoal’s new gold laces so they can “Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer” along with their favorite baseball team.
Beth Stefanacci, executive director at Go4theGoal has summoned a call-to-action, “Come out and celebrate Father’s Day with the Lakewood BlueClaws and Go4theGoal Foundation to show your support for kids battling cancer.”
Go4theGoal leadership and volunteers will host a special table inside First Energy Park on game day. The table will be filled with information about their foundation and the work they do to support pediatric cancer patients, their families, hospitals and research.
First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 PM at FirstEnergy Park, 2 Stadium Way, Lakewood, New Jersey. More information, directions to the Park and additional tickets are available online at BlueClaws.com.
