GomSpace closes 2024 with additional 14MSEK in Power Product orders
GomSpace has been selected as the power systems provider for two leading European space companies, securing product orders worth 14 million SEK. These contracts, awarded just before the close of 2024, highlight the growing demand for GomSpace’s flight-proven, high-reliability power solutions.
GomSpace’s Power System Suite simplifies spacecraft power design by offering a fully integrated, flight-proven solution—reducing complexity, accelerating development, and minimizing risk. Combined with GomSpace’s ability to deliver reliable quality and with the right timing, this was a key factor closing these important product orders.
“Reliable power is the backbone of any successful space mission. Our customers need to focus on their missions, not the complexity of power system integration. With GomSpace’s power products, they get a proven, reliable, and easy-to-implement solution that helps them stay on schedule and within budget,” says Henrik Kalstrup, Vice President of Products Business Unit at GomSpace. He continues: “We are pleased to see that our intensified focus on product sales has led to a closure of these two important power product orders. Our focus on reliability, a flight proven product portfolio and a simplified procurement process is paying off and has led to a notable growth in order intake for Products in 2024.”
These orders mark a strong end to the year and puts GomSpace on a good path into 2025.
As demand for high-performance power systems continues to rise, GomSpace remains at the forefront and is ready to power more space missions in 2025.
