GomSpace enters into a research project with Aarhus University, Denmark
March 22, 2017 – GomSpace ApS (”GomSpace”) a subsidiary of GS Sweden AB (publ) (the ”Company”) has entered into a joint research project agreement with Aarhus University, that will lead to the launch of Aarhus University’s first own satellite – AUSAT-1 wihin a 16-month period. The order value of approx. 1.800.000 SEK will be distributed over the term of the agreement.
The parties will bring different capabilities into the project, which include education of staff and students at Aarhus University, integration of the satellite, the building of a ground station and SW development for the satellite. The project aims to build up capacities at Aarhus University and GomSpace for future missions under the AUSAT umbrella and to strengthen the cooperation between Aarhus University and the space industry.
