Gowrings Mobility and East Coast Mobility team up for care event

The leading UK manufacturer of WAV (wheelchair access vehicles) Gowrings Mobility recently attended (April 3rd-10th) a week-long assessment event run by East Coast Mobility, suppliers of mobility aids and access equipment. East Coast Mobility arranged a series of promotional days organized for people to not only view specialist products but have a chance to try them out and to be guided by the designers and manufacturers as to the most appropriate application for mobility equipment users. Gowrings provided a Vauxhall Combo Tourer WAV, with one of their professional demonstrators, to enable visitors to see the versatility and ease of use of the vehicle for a wheelchair user and Carer alike. This purpose built model is one of many from their production centre in Newbury, Berkshire for the national market. Both East Coast and Gowrings have extensive experience in their fields, the former just about to enter their seventh year of trading, the latter having been in the mobility business for nearly fifty years and both being active in ensuring that their customers get the best care, advice and quality products available.
