kallenbach.medien is convinced that the combination of Felix Schoeller's STYLine® wallpaper and Xeikon digital printing presses is a winning formula
Osnabrück, August 2017
The finely tuned interaction between high-quality substrates and high-performance printing presses is producing outstanding products for individualised wall designs.
Individualised wall designs are gaining in popularity. Finding the right combination of printing press and print substrate to meet the high quality standards they require is a challenge for every printer
kallenbach.medien, media service providers based in Detmold in North Rhine-Westphalia, decided to work with the first Xeikon digital printing press almost 20 years ago. They reaffirmed their belief in this decision to use Xeikon printing systems for high-quality prints in April 2017 with their purchase of a new Xeikon web-fed press. This machine is already a third-generation Xeikon product.
To produce its digitally printed wallpaper, kallenbach.medien has chosen substrates made by the Felix Schoeller Group, the Osnabrück-based specialty paper manufacturer. Its STYLine®media have been qualified for Xeikon digital printing systems. By using Felix Schoeller products on the XEIKON 8500, kallenbach.medien is able to guarantee its customers consistently high quality. The Xeikon 8500 works with 1200x1200 dpi and 240 lpi image resolution and Felix Schoeller's STYLine®meets the highest standards in terms of image reproduction and colour fidelity.
“We value the excellent individual advice and close technical support Felix Schoeller provides, particularly for product innovations. That makes the choice of supplier an easy decision,” says Marco Kallenbach, CEO of kallenbach.medien. The reasons for choosing the Xeikon machines are also well founded. “We were one of the trailblazers for this technology in Germany and over the years we have gained a great deal of expertise in using the XEIKON systems. The high availability, the specific advantages of duplex printing and the continuous format have reinforced our commitment to Xeikon," adds Marco Kallenbach. If any questions or problems arise, the XEIKON hotline and highly trained technicians are immediately on hand with expert advice.
kallenbach.medien's customers value the company’s ability to deliver individualised solutions and rapid realisation, the huge range of media that can be printed on demand and its capacity to meet unusual wishes. “Key factors in the success of digital printing are its rapid availability and flexibility along with variable data printing for personalised mail shots," Bastian Kallenbach, who is also a CEO of kallenbach.medien, explained. kallenbach.medien's range extends far beyond printing digital wallpaper. Popular products include, for example, printed starting numbers for races and individualised brand-oriented advertising at point of sale. In addition to STYLine®the Felix Schoeller Group’s E-PHOTO®media are used here.
