Experience ‘live’ at ITMA Barcelona what fast, efficient, precise and consistent means for your dye sublimation production.

When the ITMA opens its doors in Barcelona from 20 to 26 June 2019, Felix Schoeller presents its S-RACE dye sublimation paper portfolio in a completely transformed brand look. This includes a complete new naming structure of all S-RACE products. Moreover, visitors will be able to see the world’s fastest drying thermal-adhesive paper ‘live in action’.

Digital dye sublimation printing has become almost indispensable for many industries. Especially in textiles, makers of fashion and sportswear are looking for increased speed and improved quality to meet the challenging demands of digitally printed garments.

“S-RACE is the ultimate choice for printing houses of any size that constantly want to deliver outstanding quality. All our dye sublimation papers feature the groundbreaking S-RACE technology”, explains Hans Kiewiet, General Manager of Felix Schoeller´s dye sublimation business. “This technology features a unique coating, a colour receiver layer which has a microporous structure. This gives the paper the ability to absorb and store the ink, like a sponge, very quickly and precise”, continues Hans Kiewiet. S-RACE dye sublimation papers are impressively fast, efficient and precise in every detail.

S-RACE Tacky 100 is in focus.

One of the highlights at this year's ITMA stand will be a ‘live’-sublimation demonstration, allowing visitors to experience the advantages of S-RACE Tacky 100 directly on site. S-RACE Tacky 100 is a 100 g/m2 dye sublimation paper with thermal adhesive properties allowing the paper to stick to the textile substrate. This is particularly important for textiles that are elastic like those for swimwear or cycling outfits. S-RACE Tacky 100 is the very first microporous tacky paper and the fastest drying in the market. For the ‘live’ demonstration, Felix Schoeller will be supported by Monti Antonio with their single flat bed press Model 108. In addition to S-RACE Tacky 100, visitors can experience the complete portfolio of S-RACE papers for all kind of textile applications.

S-RACE stands out with a new brand appearance.

The product portfolio not only impresses with its advantages. At ITMA, S-RACE appears in a completely transformed brand look. “The focus of the new brand promise and design is our groundbreaking technology, which makes S-RACE the future-proof solution for printers and dealers”, as Martin Wöstemeyer, Senior Marketing Manager of the Felix Schoeller Group, explains. “By using our papers, printers will impress their clients with amazing results whilst enabling stable production and continuous quality. We can confidently promise: Made to impress”, Martin Wöstemeyer adds.

In addition, a new naming structure was developed in line with the new brand appearance. All product names now reflect the key sublimation applications, allowing for easier orientation and differentiation within the S-RACE portfolio. For example, the product best suited for use in fashion and home decor printing, now goes by the name S-RACE Look 55.
