New facestock materials produce unusual finishes and high-quality haptics
The Osnabrück-based Felix Schoeller Group, manufacturer of a wide range of specialty papers for numerous industries, is now launching new products for creative label design. ATTRACT is a comprehensive facestock range that has been specially designed to produce labels with high-quality finishes and properties. The new papers are suitable for use with all digital printing technologies; they serve the growing trend towards personalisation and customisation with high-end individual labels.

ATTRACT for new dimensions in digital label printing
The Felix Schoeller Group’s new facestock range comprises 19 materials and grammages, offering a diverse range of design and digital printing options for visually appealing labels. The ATTRACT family consists of three product categories: the first for matt, glossy and satin matt finishes, the second with soft haptics of non-woven products and the third for functional coatings such as barrier coatings. The grammages range from 80 to 240 g/m². The products offer such a wide choice of properties that they can be used in numerous, very different applications. They include not only pure information media, such as hang tags and badges, but also labels with a very high quality appearance, special properties and photo qualities. Felix Schoeller has also developed a “building block option” that expands the range of applications still further: by combining different coatings, unique customised products can be created to suit completely individual requirements.
