Due to significant and rapidly rising costs on the purchasing side, the Felix Schoeller Group is once again adjusting the prices for its specialty papers. With effect from 1st June 2021, the Osnabrück-based company is increasing its selling prices by up to 15%.

The costs of the main raw materials as well as freight, energy, packaging and other primary products used in the manufacturing of the Felix Schoeller Group's papers are continuing to rise sharply. To counteract these cost increases, the specialty paper manufacturer is raising its sales prices by up to 15% from 1st June 2021, depending on the product type and region.

"The current cost explosion significantly exceeds the scope of our last price adjustment. We therefore unfortunately feel compelled to implement another price increase in the market," said Hans-Christoph Gallenkamp, CEO of the Felix Schoeller Group, about the decision. "With the new price structure, we will strengthen our performance so that we can continue to offer excellent products and services in the future," Hans-Christoph Gallenkamp added.

The Osnabrück-based specialty paper manufacturer had previously raised its prices on 1st April 2021 due to increasing purchasing costs.
