Change in number of shares and votes in Gränges

The number of shares and votes in Gränges AB (publ) (Nasdaq Stockholm: GRNG) has changed during the month of December as a result of the completion of the previously communicated rights issue with preferential rights for existing shareholders.

As previously communicated, on 18 November 2020 Gränges’ Board of Directors, by virtue of an authorization from the Annual General Meeting on 25 June 2020, decided on a fully guaranteed rights issue of approximately SEK 1.7 billion with preferential rights for existing shareholders in order to finance the acquisition of Aluminium Konin, which was completed on 6 November 2020, maintain Gränges’ financial strength and to finance future growth investments in line with Gränges’ strategy. On 16 December 2020 Gränges announced that the rights issue had been fully subscribed and that Gränges will receive proceeds of approximately SEK 1,701 million before transaction costs through the rights issue.

The rights issue has resulted in an increase in the number of shares in Gränges of 28,348,964 shares during the month of December, from 77,959,654 to 106,308,618 shares, and an increase in the share capital by SEK 37,981,240, from SEK 104,448,413 to SEK 142,429,653.

As of 30 December 2020, the last trading day of the month, the total number of shares and votes in Gränges amounted to 106,308,618.
