Gränges strengthens the management team
Since the listing of the Gränges share in 2014, Gränges has more than doubled its sales volume and profit and generated growth above industry average, driven by technically advanced products, innovation, successful acquisitions and a strong sustainability commitment. As part of Gränges’ continued sustainable and profitable growth, a decision has been made to strengthen the company’s management team.
Camilla Weiner, currently interim SVP Communication at Gränges AB, has been appointed SVP Corporate Responsibility & Communication, a new role in Gränges’ Group Management with responsibility for HR, Sustainability, Operational Development and Communication. Camilla Weiner has a degree in business administration and has long experience from driving development and change in senior management positions within communication and sustainability at listed companies. Camilla Weiner will take up her position on 15 May 2020 and will report to CEO and be a member of Gränges’ Group Management.
Sofia Hedevåg, currently VP Sustainability at Gränges AB, has been appointed SVP Sustainability. Sofia Hedevåg and Bilal Chebaro, CIO at Gränges AB, will from 15 May 2020 be members of Gränges’ extended Group Management. They both have good experience of driving development and change in senior positions and will contribute with solid knowledge within the areas of sustainability and IT. Sofia Hedevåg will report to SVP Corporate Responsibility & Communication and Bilal Chebaro will report to CFO.
“Through this change, we will get a well-composed management team with strengthened competence in strategically important areas. I am convinced that Camilla, Sofia and Bilal will continue to contribute positively to Gränges’ sustainable profitable growth,” says Johan Menckel, CEO of Gränges AB.
