Nomination Committee’s proposal for Board of Directors and Chairman of Gränges AB (publ)
The Nomination Committee of Gränges propose that the Board members Anders G. Carlberg, Carina Andersson, Peter Carlsson, Katarina Lindström, Hans Porat and Ragnhild Wiborg will be re-elected at the Annual General Meeting 2018. The Nomination Committee also proposes election of Mats Backman as new Board member. Anders G. Carlberg is proposed to be re-elected as Chairman of the Board.
Mats Backman (born 1968) is CFO of Autoliv, Inc. since 2016. He has held various positions at Sandvik during 2007-2016, including as CFO in 2013-2016. During 2001-2007, Mats Backman was at Outokumpu. He has also had various positions at Nordea and Boliden. Mats Backman holds a B.Sc. in Business Administrations and Economics.
Gränges Nomination Committee consists of representatives of the company's three largest shareholders and the company's Chairman. Prior to the Annual General Meeting in 2018, Gränges’ Nomination Committee has the following composition: Jannis Kitsakis, Fourth Swedish National Pension Fund, Anders Algotsson, AFA Insurance, Rikard Andersson, SEB Funds and Anders G. Carlberg, Chairman of the Board in Gränges. The Chairman of the Nomination Committee is Jannis Kitsakis.
Gränges Annual General Meeting 2018 will be held on Thursday 3 May 2018 at Näringslivets Hus in Stockholm.
