Green Landscaping acquires the Helsinki-based landscaping company Viher-Pirkka Oy

Green Landscaping Group AB (publ) has acquired Viher-Pirkka Oy, a landscaping company based in Helsinki with a turnover of approximately EUR 10 million.
Viher-Pirkka is a company with operations in southern Finland that specializes in landscaping projects. The company was founded in 1988 and in the most recent financial year has a turnover of approximately EUR 10 million and 50 employees. During the second part of 2018, the company merged with Koiviston Vihertyö Oy and with that laid the foundation for the company that has grown strong in recent years.
- Viher-Pirkka is managed by Tapio Sundholm och Tomi Koivisto who are two successful entrepreneurs. The company is well-reputed with a high goal for what they want to achieve in the market. We are pleased that we found the company and that we were able to relatively quickly establish that management shares our view on entrepreneurship and value-creating business, says Johan Nordström, CEO Green Landscaping Group.
- We have known how Green Landscaping Group works and since we have great ambitions for what we want to accomplish, it feels completely right to execute this plan together with an industrially strong player such as Green. Green Landscaping Group acquires 100 percent of the shares in Viher-Pirkka with access 21 June. The acquisition is financed with own cash, repurchased shares and with non-cash issue of own shares. The Board has therefore, within the scope of the authorization from the Annual General Meeting on 14 May 2021, today decided on an issue of 70 120 shares in Green Landscaping Group, aimed at the sellers of Viher-Pirkka Oy. This corresponds to a dilution of 0.14% of the share capital and votes in Green Landscaping Group. The number of shares in Green Landscaping Group after completed issue is 50 787 230 shares.
The previous owners of Viher-Pirkka Oy are now shareholders in Green Landscaping Group AB.
