Trädexperterna becomes part of Jacksons Trädvård and the Green Landscaping Group

Green Landscaping’s subsidiary Jacksons Trädvård acquires Trädexperterna AB, a company active within arborist services based in Lindome outside Gothenburg. Trädexperterna will gradually be integrated into Jacksons Trädvård, hence strengthening its offering in the southwest of Sweden.

Trädexperterna AB was founded in 2011 by its CEO Richard Reimertz. Its main operations consist of tree and forest care, and training related to the arborist area. In addition, the company offers transportation and production of biofuel. Trädexperterna conducts its business in most parts of western Sweden, where it has customers in both the private and public sectors. The company has 13 employees and sales were SEK 12 million in 2017. The acquisition multiple amounts to 2.8x EBIT with a possibility of earnout over a 3-year period, in line with Green Landscaping’s established acquisition methodology.

“This is an acquisition that clearly increases the customer benefits at both Jacksons Trädvård and Trädexperterna via cooperation in delivery and increased specialist expertise. We also strengthen our presence in the southwest region. All in all, we create good conditions for organic growth in this market”, says Mårten Holmqvist, CEO of Jacksons Trädvård.

CEO Richard Reimertz will remain in his current role and work together with Mårten Holmqvist to create increased benefits for the customers.
