GreenAcres Woodland Burials - Rainford, a subsidiary of Bibby Line Group, sponsors Christmas tree at the Nugent Care 'Light up a Life' Service at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.

The service led by Archbishop Malcolm McMahon was an opportunity to celebrate the lives of many special people by bringing light to their Christmas tree and hanging personal messages.

This popular service held in the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral took place on Wednesday 17th December at 12noon.

Everyone attending had the opportunity to write a personal message and dedicate a light in memory of a loved one whose names will be carefully recorded in the book of remembrance. This will be on display in the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral over Christmas and New Year.

Through each donation made, money was raised for Nugent Care which offers support and advice to hundreds of people across Liverpool and the North West of England.

Giving a reading on behalf of GreenAcres was Andy Paling, Managing Director, GreenAcres Group Ltd.

Quote from Andy Paling, Managing Director, GreenAcres Group Ltd –

“GreenAcres Woodland Burials - Rainford is delighted to support Nugent Care and sponsor the 'Light up a Life' Christmas tree for the second year running. The team at GreenAcres are very proud of the work they do in the local community and through events held in the park this year they have supported over 20 local charities and look forward to continuing to do so in 2015.”

The GreenAcres sponsored tree in the Cathedral will be on the altar throughout the Christmas and New Year period where people can remember their loved ones. For those unable to make it to the Cathedral there is also a tree located in the Woodland Hall in the park where messages can be left.
