Atlantica Yield Partners with Breeze for Wind Farm Management
London-based Atlantica Yield has chosen the Breeze system for wind farm management.
Atlantica Yield owns, manages and acquires a diversified portfolio of contracted assets in the power and environment sectors. Atlantica Yield operates high-quality recently constructed facilities with long useful lives. Atlantica Yield owns over 1.4 GW of renewable energy generation. The portfolio is diversified both by business segment and geography, present in North & South America and certain markets in EMEA.
Breeze is being used to monitor, analyze and optimize two wind farms in Uruguay with an installed capacity of 100MW. Uruguay has more than 1 GW of wind energy capacity install and aims to generate as much as 38% of its power from wind by 2018.
