Elstock parent company wins top reman award

GSF Car Parts say the quality of Elstock products has been clearly highlighted, after parent company BORG Automotive won the prestigious ‘Remanufacturer of the Year’ award at the 2015 ReMaTec trade fair in Amsterdam, held during June.

Denmark-based BORG Automotive is one of Europe’s largest remanufacturing groups. Factories in Denmark, Poland, Belgium and Birmingham produce the rotating electrics, steering, braking, A/C compressor and EGR valve ranges sold under their Elstock brand in the UK.

ReMaTec is billed by organisers as the world’s ‘largest remanufacturing event’ and this year attracted 240 exhibitors from 25 countries as a record-breaking 3,500 visitors from 250 countries attended the 3 day event.

Now in its 11th year, the ‘Remanufacturer of the Year’ award is the event’s leading accolade, bringing BORG Automotive into select list of previous winners. The judges noted the importance of BORG’s ‘constant commitment to quality’ in building ‘a world-class company which has contributed significantly to the reputation of automotive remanufacturing.’
