GSF Car Parts have added a new ‘Ship to Store’ option to their website to support their booming sales to car DIY enthusiasts and canny motorists who are looking to save on quality trade-level car parts and accessories.

The current ‘Click and Collect’ service – which offers collection within 30 minutes from GSF’s 69 stores nationwide – today makes up 65% of all orders. Now ‘Ship to Store’ will offer the convenience of local collection, but for the entire range.

This is because whilst ‘Click and Collect’ depends on availability from local store stock, ‘Ship to Store’ draws from the much larger regional and national distribution centre stocks of the UK’s largest family-owned motor factors.

“Most customers already like to collect orders in store,” said Amanda O’Reilly, Head of Marketing at GSF Car Parts. “We know receiving home deliveries during the working week can be a headache so we’re delighted to be able to extend the range available to our online customers through stores.”

Besides convenience, GSF point out many customers also enjoy the opportunity to ask the local branch team questions too.

As individual branches hold different stocks there’s no hard and fast rule, but GSF suggest in many cases at least four times as many products will be available for ‘Ship to Store’ compared to ‘Click and Collect’.

GSF Car Parts online customers have access to a free vehicle registration (VRM) look-up to identify the correct parts. In fact, the technology uses exactly the same cataloguing backbone that supports their thriving core business of trade sales to thousands of garage accounts.

The range of parts sold online is also exactly the same as is supplied to trade, effectively eliminating any quality concerns.

“Clearly, more motorists are looking to buy car parts online,” continued Amanda. “But it’s important to always use a credible trade supplier to ensure proven quality and fit for your specific vehicle derivative.”

Customers can buy online at www.gsfcarparts.com. Signing up for email updates on the site’s homepage ensures immediate notice of all the latest offers and promotions too.
