GSF Car Parts shortlisted for UK Factor Award

GSF Car Parts are ‘delighted’ to have been shortlisted in the Factor of the Year category, for the prestigious Motor Trader Awards.

The line up of finalists for the newly added award also includes Autoparts UK, Andrew Page, Fast Parts Wales and Ridgeway. It’s a selection reflecting the diversity of a category that attracted entries from right across the UK, having been open to national and regional parts distributors, as well as franchised dealer group operations.

The next and final hurdle is the hosting of a ‘roving judge’ visit later in June, ahead of the winner being announced at the 25th anniversary Motor Trader Awards gala dinner, to be held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on 8th July.

GSF Car Parts won through into the final five after persuasively explaining a raft of new initiatives like their in-house apprentice programme, started in 2014 and some innovative customer social events.

These have recently included both a ski trip to Val D’Isere, and a series of ‘Area Focus’ events, the most recent of which culminated in senior managers preparing an elaborate Morrocan-themed meal for a group of enthusiastic guests - under the expert eye of chef Susie Blayney - at Childerley Hall.

Business activities have focused on continued emphasis on tier 1 OE parts brands, supported by the development of the Vetech brand’s product portfolio, with rapid expansion of the ‘Garage Essentials’ tools and equipment programme.
