Mum wins FREE service, MOT and repairs for family car

A 30-year-old stay at home mum and her husband from Castle Vale, Birmingham have won free repairs and servicing worth more than £610 for their family after entering a GSF Car Parts competition.

As part of a £15,000 prize giveaway to help deserving owners keep their cars safely on the road, GSF Car Parts organised parts and labour for Hayley Colburn’s Vauxhall Astra, which was given a full service, MOT and repairs completely free of charge.

Mrs Colburn said: “It’s a huge help for us, especially with two demanding kids.

“It will give me a stress free life for a bit and I really like our car, so I’m glad we can keep it.”

Mr and Mrs Colburn say they entered the ‘Get Your Motor Running’ competition in the hope that they would be able to keep their car, without the worry of repairs or having to look for a new car.

Mrs Colburn added: “Something has always gone wrong with every car we have ever had, with a £300 bill for one thing or another, so this is peace of mind for us.”

In all, 17 winners were selected for free parts and repairs, with everything from new clutches, brakes and suspension supplied and fitted by GSF to lucky motorists in the midlands.
