Gunnebo Industrier is divesting its Fastening business area’s plant in Jokioinen, Finland, and moving production to the business area's Polish and Swedish plants.

OFA Fastening continues to actively work up the Finnish market and is simultaneously broadening its assortment throughout the Nordic market. The Jokioinen plant has manufactured a limited range of nails. The production is being moved to the Polish and Swedish plants, thereby enabling improved capacity utilisation.

Christer Lenner, CEO of Gunnebo Industrier AB, says that "our Polish and Swedish plants will now have considerably better capacity utilisation. While OFA Fastening continues to operate in the Finnish market, we will strengthen our position by broadening the Fastening business area's assortment throughout the Nordic market."

Pintos OY in Finland, the purchaser of the plant, will take over the operations per 17 August.
