Christian Guillou new head of Gunnebo France

In recent years, Gunnebo security group has been taking intensive measures to complete its Gunnebo One Company integration project with the object of raising the rate of organic growth and improving profitability by, for instance, integrating numerous acquisitions into one Customer Centre per country.

The integration project in France, which was completed during the fourth quarter of 2007, will be followed up during the first part of 2008 by Anders Ågren, who is currently country manager in France. Anders Ågren, who is also a management consultant, will then return to Sweden and further management assignments on behalf of Gunnebo AB.

As of 1 May 2008, Christian Guillou, 40, will be the new Country Manager in France and General Manager of Gunnebo France SA (Fichet-Bauche). He is a graduate economist from a French school of economics and has complementary management training from INSEAD, Paris.
Christian Guillou will join Gunnebo from a position as CEO of Franciaflex, a company in the building materials industry. He has also held several senior positions within the construction materials company BPB (British Plaster Board Industries) and with flooring manufacturer Pergo, partly based in Sweden.

“Christian has a first-class track record as a manager of large organisations and his experience of construction and installation project management makes him particularly suitable to develop our important security operations in France,” says Göran Gezelius, Gunnebo AB’s President and CEO.

“Anders Ågren has seen the difficult integration process in France through to its conclusion and we can now devote all our energy to sales and customer service on Gunnebo’s largest market,” says Göran Gezelius.
