Fredrik Granat appointed head of Gunnebo’s Outdoor Perimeter Security Competence Centre

Gunnebo security group has appointed Fredrik Granat as manager of its Outdoor Perimeter Security Competence Centre. He will succeed Åke Sundby, who has decided to leave the Group when his contract of employment expires on 31 March 2008.

Granat (44) is a graduate economist from the School of Business, Economics and Law at Göteborg University. He held several senior financial positions with the SCA group and other companies before joining Gunnebo in 2000 as finance manager with its Gunnebo Perimeter Protection Division.

He was appointed head of Business Development within the Outdoor Perimeter Security Competence Centre on 1 January 2007 and has now been appointed head of the Competence Centre, which at present has 300 employees and annual sales of MEUR 95. He will take up his appointment on 1 April 2008.
