Gunnebo acquires Finnish security company

Gunnebo acquires Finnish security company Gunnebo Perimeter Protection has, through its Finnish subsidiary Polaraidat Oy, acquired Nurmi Trade Oy, a Finnish company in the outdoor perimeter protection business. Nurmi Trade, based in Kemi, has nine employees in sales and installation. Its annual turnover amounts to some MFIM 6.5 (approx. MSEK 10). With its strong position on the market in Northern Finland, Nurmi Trade will be a valuable complement to Polaraidat, which is mainly active in the south of Finland. Polaraidat Oy has had a very strong sales development in recent years. Following Polaraidat's expansion and the acquisition of Nurmi Trade, Gunnebo Perimeter Protection is now one of the leading suppliers in Finland of systems for outdoor perimeter protection.
