Gunnebo acquires Hygiaphone S.A. in France

Gunnebo acquires Hygiaphone S.A. in France E A Rosengrens, a subsidiary of Gunnebo, has today acquired the company Hygiaphone S.A. Hygiaphone has production, sales and installation of security solutions of cash-, ticket- and bank-counters. Hygiaphone´s special product is installation of a patented membrane system, which makes it possible to speak through bullet proof glass walls at the bank or cash counter. Hygiaphone had a turnover of 11 MFRF in 1997. The number of employees is 16. Hygiaphone directs its sales of security products to the same target group as Rosengrens and is therefore considered to be good platform for a continuous expansion of Rosengrens sales in France. Rosengrens receives through this acquisition a well established sales and service organisation.
