Gunnebo acquires security company in Spain

Gunnebo acquires security company in Spain Gunnebo has today acquired a Spanish security company, Musa Seguridad S.L, through its subsidiary CYRASA Servicio de Seguridad S.A. The vendor is Aguas de Barcelona, a listed water and service company. Musa is a small security company with 10 employees and an annual turnover of MSEK 5.5. Half of the business comprises a security alarm centre with 1,200 subscribers, mainly private individuals. The other half of the business consists of alarm installations and servicing of electronic security equipment. Even though Musa is a small acquisition, it is of interest to CYRASA in strategic terms, as it moves the company into security and surveillance on behalf of private clients. Formerly, it focused primarily on banks and other business clients. Musa's business will be integrated into our existing range of electronic security system in Spain, including such products as burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV (surveillance with cameras and monitor screens) and alarm centres.
