GUNNEBO divests lock- and door division within Fichet-Bauche

GUNNEBO divests lock- and door division within Fichet-Bauche - Letter of Intent signed with ASSA ABLOY Fichet-Bauche is the leading supplier of secure cash handling, asset protection, bank security and electronic alarm systems in France. This autumn a revised strategy has been decided for Fichet-Bauche. This means that Fichet-Bauche will actively focus on security areas with high growth such as electronic alarm systems and other security areas where the company has a leading market position. A decision to divest the lock- and door division within Fichet-Bauche has therefore been made. A Letter of Intent has been signed with ASSA ABLOY. The lock- and door division has annual sales of MFFR 170, which is 15 % of total sales within the Fichet-Bauche Group. Total sales for 1999 are expected to reach MFFR 1 200. Further information will be published not later than mid December and the divestment is estimated to be completed this year.
