Summary Gunnebo Interim report January - March 2001 · The Group's order intake increased by 33% to MSEK 1,603 (1,201). Strong organic growth by 9%, of which Gunnebo Security increased by 12%. · Invoiced sales increased by 28% to MSEK 1,406. The organic growth was 3%, of which Gunnebo Security had an increase of 5%. · Profit after financial items amounted to MSEK 17 (last year MSEK 25, excluding items disturbing comparability). For comparable units, adjusted for currency fluctuations, the result improved by MSEK 3 compared to last year. · Earnings per share amounted to SEK 0.60 (1.45). Earnings per share for the latest 12-month period amounted to SEK 10.55 (10.55). · For 2001 as a whole, the profit after net financial items and excluding items affecting comparability is expected to reach the same level as the previous year's figure of MSEK 210. · The operating profit for Gunnebo Security is expected to show already this year a considerable improvement and to increase by at least MSEK 100. · The synergy effects of the restructuring program will considerably show through in 2002, with full effect by 2003 at the latest (MSEK 100 - 150). · CS Security, a French security company, was acquired in April. The company has a turnover of MSEK 460 and is market leader in access control systems in France.
