Gunnebo provides security for Shell petrol stations in South Africa Chubb Safes, Service & Transport (Pty) Ltd, South Africa - a wholly owned subsidiary of the security group Gunnebo AB - has begun to deliver 500 customised deposit safes for Shell's petrol stations in South Africa. The order, which is worth some MSEK 4.5 and which will be delivered over a four-month period, was won thanks to Chubb Safes' ability to provide a customised design and meet the delivery requirements, thanks to manufacturing the safes locally in South Africa. The deposit safes will make secure cash handling possible inside the petrol stations and it is expected that the number of attacks on Shell sites will be reduced to a minimum. "Chubb Safes in South Africa has recently won a number of valuable orders for a variety of security products, of which the security products for Shell and certain South African banks are the most important," says David J.
