Gunnebo's operations in 2005 - pro-forma

As of 1 January, 2006 the Gunnebo Group will report its operations on the basis of the four Business Lines: Bank, Retail, Site Protection and Secure Storage. In this press release, pro-forma figures for the four quarters 2005 are presented.

On Thursday, 27 April 2006, Gunnebo AB will release its first interim report 2006, with reporting per those four Business Lines, as presented in an attachment to this press release. New organisation as of 1 January 2006 During the coming years, Gunnebo will concentrate on security solutions for banks and the retail trade, and as well as on installations and buildings in particular need of protection against penetration, such as airports, harbours, power stations, embassies and military installations. Gunnebo is also the world leader in high-graded safe products for other customers than banks and retailers, and the company intends to consolidate and strengthen this position. In order to integrate Gunnebo’s various security solutions into a coordinated offering for each customer category the Group was reorganised at the end of 2005, and the new organisation came into effect on 1 January 2006. The Group’s customers are now served by a single Customer Centre in each country where Gunnebo already had a market presence through a subsidiary. Systems and product development, production and logistics are administered from six Competence Centres, which also function as suppliers of security systems and products for the Customer Centres. The Competence Centres also have responsibility for sales on those markets where Gunnebo is represented by agents and distributors.
