Gunnebo Strengthens Group Executive Team

The Gunnebo Group is strengthening its Group Executive Team with a new SVP for Region Americas, as well as establishing a new function for Business Development.

Daniel Schroeder appointed SVP Region Americas
Daniel Schroeder has been appointed SVP Region Americas. Daniel has held senior management positions within the large international security companies Tyco and ADT Security Services for the last 15 years. His latest position was Vice President for Sales North America within Tyco.

As SVP Region Americas he will succeed Tomas Wängberg, who will take on the role as SVP Business Development (see below). Daniel will take up the position as of January 1, 2016 and be a member of Gunnebo’s Group Executive Team.

Tomas Wängberg appointed SVP Business Development
Tomas Wängberg has been appointed SVP Business Development. Tomas has been working for Gunnebo since 2009, and has held senior positions including SVP Region Americas, SVP M&A and SVP Secure Storage.

In his new role the emphasis will be on developing new business opportunities and making sure the Gunnebo Group is capitalising on its strong product portfolio. Tomas will remain a member of the Group Executive Team. The change is valid as of January 1, 2016.
