Gunnebo strengthens group management with logistics director

Göran Gustafson (53) has been appointed Senior Vice President with responsibility for logistic and distribution within the Gunnebo security group. He also joins Gunnebo’s Group Management as of 1 February 2006.

Gustafson holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Göteborg. He has previously held a number of senior positions within production, distribution and logistics. Gustafson joins Gunnebo from Bahco, where he was Vice President Operations Saws with responsibility for production, distribution, logistics, purchasing, and R&D as well as being president of the Swedish unit. Gustafson has a solid international experience with twelve years service outside Sweden. “With his extensive experience of co-ordinating and rationalising large product flows within international engineering groups, Gustafson will bring logistical expertise to Gunnebo and actively contribute to creating more streamlined product flows throughout the Group” says Göran Gezelius, Gunnebo’s President and CEO. “I am looking forward to joining Gunnebo and hope that my international experience will contribute to further improving the service Gunnebo offers its customers and distributors,” says Gustafson.
