New Contract Strengthens Gunnebo Partnership with La Poste
The French postal service, La Poste, has made Gunnebo one of its most important suppliers of electronic security solutions.
The contract, which could rise to a value of €5 million over three years, includes the annual provision of 360 SecurWave control panels for integrated access control and intrusion detection.
This new agreement follows two previous orders from La Poste for electronic security solutions. Including the earlier roll-outs, more than one third of La Poste’s 12,000 sites will eventually be equipped with SecurWave control panels. Gunnebo will be able to supply a single solution to fit every one of the post offices, something which was a major selling point for La Poste.
La Poste plans to monitor the entire installed base using Gunnebo’s SecurManager application. SecurManager will track each system’s performance and flag up areas for improvement, which will ultimately optimise operating costs for La Poste.
“La Poste has reaffirmed its confidence in Gunnebo,” says Morten Andreasen, SVP EMEA at Gunnebo, “and in SecurWave has chosen the leading electronic security solution in this area.”
