Partnerships Create More Efficient Cash Handling
The Gunnebo Security Group has received an order from the Dutch CIT company, RCCS, to equip its new cash-in-transit facility with cash handling and entrance control solutions.
Gunnebo’s solutions will help secure RCCS’s new facility, which is soon to be opened, in a deal worth at least KEUR 250.
“Gunnebo is the only company that can offer a total security package for our cash-in-transit facility,” says Mr F. Rensenbrink, CEO of RCCS. “We consider Gunnebo a valuable partner for our company, not only in terms of its solutions but also as a partner in realizing this important project for us.”
In addition, RCCS and Gunnebo will launch a completely closed, end-to-end cash handling solution to the market at the security exhibition in Essen at the end of September.
“This complete concept that we have created together with leading market partners and banks is the first example of cooperation across the whole cash chain,” says Patrick van Aart, Director of Cash Handling for Gunnebo. “By connecting and integrating Gunnebo’s cash handling solutions with RCCS’s CIT systems, bank systems and the back office of small and medium retailers, we are making cash handling processes much more efficient.”
Both projects demonstrate that close partnerships with customers and those parties involved in the cash chain are the way forward.
