Strategic Partnership Creates New Opportunities for Gunnebo in the US

The Gunnebo Group has launched a partnership with cash automation software specialists, CFM, to bring its cash recycler to credit unions across the USA.

The partnership means that Gunnebo’s Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) will be integrated with CFM software providing the credit unions with a turnkey solution, avoiding costly on-site integration processes to get cash recycling capabilities.

A credit union is a financial co-operative where people pool their money to provide loans to each other. In the US, credit unions have over 100 million members.

Driving Cash Management Efficiency

Gunnebo’s TCR helps automate the cash handling process. It registers, counts, deposits, stores and dispenses cash on demand, saving time on administration giving staff more time to engage with customers. Thus, the solution helps credit unions manage cash more efficiently and build client relationships at the same time.

Credit unions will also benefit from faster cash transaction times, reduced operating costs and authentication of all notes deposited.

Strong Market Potential for Cash Recycling

“This strategic partnership will help us maximise growth opportunities within Cash Management in the USA,” states Gunnebo’s President & CEO, Henrik Lange. “Together we are leveraging the experience and expertise of two industry leaders. The credit union market is a new vertical for Gunnebo’s cash recycling technology which has the potential to provide us with new inroads into the US financial sector.”
